Identity Clark County Elects Kathryn Williams to its Board of Directors

The business leaders group Identity Clark County has elected Kathryn Williams to its Board of Directors.

Ms. Williams is the VP of Public Affairs and Sustainability for NW Natural, a 162-year-old energy provider to commercial, industrial and residential customers in western Oregon and southwest Washington. She is responsible for government affairs, community relations, corporate giving, and environmental policy and compliance. She also serves on the statewide board of Oregon Business and Industry.

Prior to Northwest Natural, Ms. Williams oversaw state governmental affairs for the Port of Portland, including the region’s international airport PDX and two marine terminals. She also was an associate at the regional public affairs consulting firm Imeson & Carter, representing infrastructure, transportation and nonprofit clients. Ms. Williams has degrees in History and Latin American Studies from Colorado College and completed an executive education program at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government on Economics and the Environment.
